<description>Props to you on trying to make the jump from designer to code jockey. I'm trying to do the same...to some extent. I applied your code for bringing in an external swf movie.

Here's what I am struggling to do. I have a main stage with a probably a looping movie. On top of the looping movie I have buttons. The goal is to click a button to load in a child swf.

Two-part question hoping you may be able to point me in the right direction.

1. Adapt your load child swf code to respond to a button click. i.e. click button1 to play (child)swf1 on top of the looping background.

2. Need to have (child)swf1 close/unload so the user can get back to the mainstage where the other buttons exist.

OK, maybe a third question, which I can probably hack through myself. When the child swfs load, I would build a small button into each that would close the movie if someone does not want to watch it completely. Why they would want to I don't know because it will be a great movie.

I have added cue point event to the end of each child swf already, thinking I can access that to close/unload when complete.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a hard time asking for help. Thanks in advance!</description>
